Classes run at the ‘Swansea Met Uni’ on Townhill Rd and cost £4 a lesson which you can pay weekly or pay £20 upfront and you will then receive 6 classes for the price of 5.

Mondays – 5.15-6.15pm

Thursdays – 7-8pm.

All our teams have done extremely well with our Under 10′s team ‘Diamond Dolls’ placing 4th in both comps, Destuction our Under 14′s team coming 3rd in Reading and 1st in West Midlands. They will now move up to Intermediate level. Tru Femme came 5th in Reading and 1st in West Midlands also having to move up to Intermediate level.Our new Under 14′s team Pure Damage did extremely well for their very first competition and we look forward to seeing them compete in Newport in November along with our other new team, Under 18′s ‘Demolition’.

There were loads of solo and duo trophies, too many to mention, including 1st places for our teachers Kennedy in her solo in Intermediate level and a 1st for Kirsty and Kennedy’s duo in Advanced level. Amazing!!!  It is really a joy to see the amazing progress that they are all making thanks to their teachers Kennedy, Kirsty and Zoe.

I am very excited to introduce our next teacher and I know the kids will benefit highly from him as he has taught me also.  He made the finals in Sky 1’s Got to Dance this year, and please look up his crew ‘Prototype’ on You Tube, they are amazing. His biography is as follows -

‘Kashmir ‘Dancegeek’ Leese is a 23 year old self-taught professional dancer based in birmingham, UK.

Started dancing in April of 2006, with groups such as Broken Silence, Black Mafia and BBoysAttic.

After a year and a half kashmir earned his first professional job with 2Faced Dance Company which he became one of the eight core members of the show ‘State of Matter’ which toured nationally.

After leaving 2faced Kashmir created The Smash Bro’z HipHop Collective (2009) with Aundre Brown and Jahmai Jones with one reason! To preserve REAL hip hop dance styles in the UK. Not just the dance but the Kulture and music too.

Smash Bro’z went on to win The UK Hip Hop Championhips in 2010 and 3rd Place in 2009, which qualified them to go to Las Vegas both years to represent the UK and in 2010 they did.

Smash Bro’z were together for just over a year before they broke up but the impact they had on the UK dance scene had already help start a chain of events that are helping shape the future of the UK’s dance scene.

Kashmir now focus’s on his solo career, changing the face of the UK dance scene & his new crews Konoha and Prototype, while teaching and competing in the UK and all over Europe.’

The dates are Sat 20^th Oct and Sun 21^st Oct and will take place at ‘Penyrheol Leisue Centre’
